Photo 13: Yourself With 13 Things

I can't lie. This prompt, yourself with 13 things, did not deeply inspire me. But, far be it for me to judge the photo prompt gods. That can only lead to heartache.

So, I arranged myself with 13 things that were part of my day today.

1. The book on the left is a playscript for my 100 plays project.
2. On the book - hard to see - is my bundle of keys, most of which are for my apartment - security gate, two door locks, and a mailbox key.
3. The red card below the book is my train pass for my foray to the Botanical Garden for my exciting morning at Yoga Aid, a charity event that challenged participants to a 2 hour practice on the Harbour. It was a glorious morning. I met Surfing Friend there, followed by a nice coffee catch up).
4. Also related to Yoga Aid, you can see my yoga mat in the back, which I dragged around with me for half the day...
5. ... my sunscreen (2nd to last right) because you cannot mess around with the sun here ...
6. ... my water bottle (far right) to stay hydrated during the long practice (generally, I try to carry a water bottle with me all the time now that it's getting warmer out)...
7. ... two hair bands for the cute pig tails I willed my hair into this morning ...
8. ... the meditation beads (middle) we got as a "prize" at the end of the practice.
9. Next to the book is my phone, which is a staple of everyday.s It's my clock, my map, my phone-a-friend, my Facebook on demand, and endless else.
10.  Next to the phone is my Fly Buys card because I picked up some groceries at Coles. Both of the major grocery stores here have rewards cards (which are also attached to their sister stores - i.e. Fly Buys can also be used at Liquorland, KMart, some gas stations, etc.). Fly Buys earns you points for a catalog of various and sundry reward items, all absurdly "expensive." Woolies's card is better because it earns you Qantas airline miles, but I figure using the Fly Buys card can't hurt, at least. Maybe I'll get something cool in a few years.
11. On top of the yoga mat are my sunglasses (sunnies) because I was out walking around a lot during the day. Again - can't mess with the sun.
12. My ipod because I have a podcast obsession. With all the walking I had to do, I got all caught up on my TBTL.
13. And, finally, I've included nutmeg because I baked a loaf of zucchini bread to take with me to book club tonight. The book club is a group of my favorite expat girls, and I look forward to our gatherings every month. Mostly we drink wine, eat snacks, and chat. We usually talk about the book for 10 minutes or so. I would have photographed the book, but I actually didn't read it this month (had to let that one go because of all the play reading). I also would have photographed the zucchini bread, but it all got eaten.
