Photo 2: What I Wore Today

When I woke up today, it was one of those shining, blue Sydney mornings that you see in sweeping postcard shots of the Harbour. The postcards are no lie. We actually get a lot of those days here, but lately (you know, for the last four months) it has been more dreadful than gorgeous. So, when the sun was shining and the temperature was mild this morning, there was no choice but to put on my prettiest Spring dress and float to work in flowers and crepe.

Here, I've photographed my dress hanging up because I wanted to play with the backlight like bridal photographers and those photos they always take of the wedding dress hanging up in a window.

I actually stumbled into a good trick on on the camera while I was at it, so my plan of learning my camera better during the project is already coming to fruition.
